We hasten to add that we scribblers have absolutely no idea what the equation in question means, much less why mathematicians think it’s such hot stuff. But if–as Wikipedia says–Richard Feynman actually called it “our jewel,” well, that’s enough for us. (Like the Little Shining Man in the Eusa story: we ain’t the knowing of it, just the showing of it.)
UPDATE: In fact, on review, we’re not even sure that that “i” in the formula means the square root of negative one. But to show what sports we are, Scribblers Media will award ALL contestants 100,000 scribble points, just for playing. (Now don’t redeem them all in one place.)
